Laptop Maniax combines indian-inspired synthesizer melodies, outbursts from hacked drum machines, relentless one bit pulses from custom made software, and shitcore video collage into an irreverent mix of lyricism, structure and chaos.
Andreja Andric (born 1973) is a Serbian sound artist, currently living in Aarhus, Denmark. His chief interests lie in playful exploration of mathematical processes and chance. He exhibits and performs internationally, mainly with works that use computer programming as key means of artistic expression.
Elí Guðnason (b. 1979, Iceland), self-taught artist, hacker and musician. Elí makes sounds from cracked proprietary software and other peoples codes, DIY electronics and circuit bending. Elí likes to take software and hardware to the limit of operation in order to explore the magic that may occur.
I am a graduate from the Jutland art academy and have been working with sound for many years often connected to a visual expression. I work primarily with older software(and harware) where I exploit glitches and use the software beyond its original intent. I utilize different modes of programming and hardware to create non-linear automated loops.
